Why?.. Who?.. My Path
You're curious why I became a coach? And you haven't left the site yet? Cool :-)
I was a consultant my whole life. Started as a website developer as a kid, continued through university, then my technical career in aviation quickly shifted to improving processes and projects. That pushed me into Big4—PwC and Deloitte—where I had a successful run with great projects, challenges, and experiences, ending as Senior Manager. I started my own cybersecurity startup. Later helped CEOs as a strategy advisor.
Funny thing? I always wanted to do strategic consulting. I was always interested in company strategy. But something was missing in these "strategy" projects... Then I accidentally met Metronomics as a temporary member of a leadership team. I fell in love with it. And I don't want to call it just a "system"—for me it's a mindset, a way, an approach.
At the first opportunity, I flew to Vancouver and met the whole amazing community of Metronomics coaches. That's when I realized—this was the missing piece. The way to really help companies strategically. I started my journey as a Metronomics coach right there. Left everything else behind and pursued what I felt was my destiny.
Over the years, I've only confirmed it: by coaching and leading (not telling what to do), you really use all the potential of you and your company. You can make something amazing. No one outside your company can do this for you. Consulting can be a temporary bandaid—a solution to a one-time task. But that's not what company strategy is. You need to work on it daily. And with a coach, it's much easier. The impact is lasting.
That's why I do this. Being a CEO is lonely, stressful, and challenging. I'm here to be your counterpart—someone who tells you what I see, gives you honest feedback, and is by your side to keep you focused and on track.I love seeing good companies making impact.
